The September 22 release consolidates two existing connection categories for workflow-based deployment.
NEW YORK, New York — September 22, 2026 — Floppydata today released a unified account interface for its existing datacenter and residential proxy networks, enabling customers to configure both connection categories without maintaining separate accounts.
The release changes account administration rather than introducing new network categories. Customers can now assign datacenter proxies and residential IPs to separate projects or different stages of a workflow through one account.
What Changed
As of September 22, the unified account provides:
- Access to both connection categories under one account
- Separate configuration of each category by project or workflow stage
- Selection based on request volume, geographic requirements and traffic origin
- Integration with browsers, automation tools and data-collection systems
The service supports workflows involving publicly available information, including web data collection, search and market monitoring, advertising verification, regional website testing and automated research.
Datacenter connections can be assigned to recurring or high-volume requests. Residential connections use addresses assigned by internet service providers and can be selected when a workflow requires a particular geographic origin or local browsing context.
