DALLAS – Texas Counseling Center has expanded its outpatient behavioral health program across Dallas County and surrounding North Texas communities. The expansion, effective July 22, includes three operational changes: broader availability of defined therapy modalities, a hybrid care pathway, and standardized billing documentation using CPT codes.
The program provides counseling in Dallas through Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. Available modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety and depressive presentations, Dialectical Behavior Therapy for emotional regulation and relationship concerns, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for trauma-focused care.
Initial appointments are recommended in person. Routine follow-up appointments may be conducted through telehealth when consistent with Texas licensure requirements, client location, and clinical circumstances. In-person care remains recommended for higher-acuity presentations and certain services involving children.
Intake documentation includes clinician licensure status, prior care approaches reported by clients, and payment arrangements when applicable. The center also uses standardized CPT codes in claims documentation and provides superbills upon request for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
CPT codes and superbills document services provided but do not guarantee coverage, reimbursement, or a particular client payment amount. Clients should confirm benefits and network participation directly with their insurance plan. Current information about scheduling, cancellations, payment procedures, privacy practices, telehealth requirements, and participating plans is available from the center’s administrative staff.
